Football Recap: Belleview Skates Past West Port with Ease

After low-scoring totals in their previous four matchup, Belleview brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the West Port Wolf Pack 55-13. With the Rattlers ahead 55-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Belleview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Xavier Ballesteros, Knowlen Hanson, and Nicholas Mills picked up one apiece. Mills also rushed for 152 rushing yards, which is notable because Belleview is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-7 otherwise.

Belleview's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for West Port, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Belleview nor the Wolf Pack have any future games scheduled.
