Recap: Green Bobcats vs. Symmes Valley Vikings
The Green Bobcats were the 73-63 winner over the Symmes Valley Vikings when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Green fell 44-34 to Symmes Valley on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Green has scored all season.
Ethan Smith was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals for Symmes Valley. Will Jones was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Green's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Symmes Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
Green will head out on the road to challenge Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Symmes Valley, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
