Baseball Recap: Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Takes a Loss

Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 25-9 to the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Ravens have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Adrian Zavala made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Chris Guillermo, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
