Basketball Recap: Centauri Takes a Loss

Centauri and Windsor Charter Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Centauri had to settle for second. They lost to the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds on the road by a 71-54 margin. The Falcons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windsor Charter Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dayton Long, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 24 points. That's the most points Long has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Kellen Ball, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 22 points and six assists.

Centauri's defeat dropped their record down to 26-2. As for Windsor Charter Academy, their record now sits at 25-3.

As of now, neither Centauri nor Windsor Charter Academy have any future games scheduled.
