Baseball Recap: Berean Academy Triumphs

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Berean Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tyner Academy Rams, sneaking past 10-8. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Berean Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tyner Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Berean Academy will square off against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Tyner Academy, they will face off against Austin-East at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Roadrunners will have lost 16 straight heading into Saturday's contest.
