Ayer Shirley barely beat Academy of Notre Dame the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Lancers 3-0 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ayer Shirley never let Academy of Notre Dame on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-23.

Ayer Shirley's record is now 7-2. As for Academy of Notre Dame, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ayer Shirley will host Fitchburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy of Notre Dame, they will welcome Northeast Metro RVT at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
