Baseball Recap: Mastery Comes Up Short

Mastery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Haddon Township Hawks.

Mastery saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raul Basilio, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Basilio has hit this season.

Mastery's record is now 3-6. As for Haddon Township, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mastery will welcome Palmyra at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Haddon Township, they will be playing at home against Deptford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
