Softball Preview: Trinity Blazers vs. Aurora Central Catholic Chargers
Trinity hasn't had much luck against Aurora Central Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Charlotte Brummel was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Madalyn Torrance was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Morgan Vaghy, who scored a run and stole a base.
