Soccer Game Preview: Kent County vs. Snow Hill

The Kent County Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Snow Hill Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kent County and Colonel Richardson meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Colonels 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Kent County were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Snow Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Wicomico.

Kent County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matchups. As for Snow Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Kent County came up short against Snow Hill in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
