Football Game Preview: ConVal Cougars vs. Stark Generals

The ConVal Cougars will take on the Stark Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (ConVal has three straight wins, Stark has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, it was close, but ConVal sidestepped Milford for a 21-18 victory.

Meanwhile, Stark took a blow against Manchester West on Friday, falling 44-6.

The win got ConVal back to even at 4-4. As for Stark, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

ConVal took a serious blow against Stark in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 34-6. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
