Basketball Recap: Bogalusa Comes Up Short

Bogalusa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Pine Raiders, falling 59-15. While losing is never fun, the Lumberjacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Raiders are ranked 50th).

Bogalusa's record is now 1-8. As for Pine, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bogalusa has already played their next matchup (against St. Helena College and Career Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pine has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Amite.
