Preview: Topsail vs. South Brunswick
South Brunswick have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Topsail at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as South Brunswick skips in on three wins and Topsail on four.
South Brunswick took their matchup against Dixon four weeks ago by a conclusive 38-8 score. No one put up better numbers for South Brunswick than junior Alex Brown, who brought his A game into the match. He. Brown has been a consistent playmaker for South Brunswick as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Topsail put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against White Oak as they made off with a 35-10 victory. That looming 25-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Topsail yet.
Their wins bumped Topsail to 4-0 and South Brunswick to 3-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Topsail and South Brunswick will really light up the scoreboard.
