Volleyball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook lost against Shenendehowa on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blazers fell just short of the Plainsmen by a score of 1-0. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Millbrook was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19.

Nina Lapine paced Millbrook's offense, picking up six kills. Lapine got some help from Alexis Larocca and her eight assists.

Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 18-11-8. As for Shenendehowa, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-8-3.

Millbrook has already played their next contest (against Highland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shenendehowa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Mount Academy on the 18th.
