Volleyball Recap: Beverly Takes a Loss

Beverly lost against Marblehead back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Magicians, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Beverly lost, don't look at Lorelei MacKilligan. Despite the final result, she had ten digs.

Sydney Faris was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and two aces.

Beverly dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Marblehead, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Beverly has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Swampscott on the 17th. As for Marblehead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Saugus on the 16th.
