Volleyball Game Preview: Medford Mustangs vs. Revere Patriots

Medford hasn't had much luck against Revere recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Medford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Medford got the win against Pioneer Charter School of Science II by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Medford took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Revere made easy work of Excel Academy Charter on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Revere not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Excel Academy Charter between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

Revere's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Medford, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Medford came up short against Revere in their previous meeting back in April, falling 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
