Softball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss

If Quantico was feeling good fresh off their 32-17 takedown of Foxcroft on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Seton Conquistadors on Monday, falling 22-7. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Conquistadors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Quantico saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Farnsworth, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that Farnsworth has hit this season. Another was Riley Nicholson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Quantico now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Seton, their record is now an identical 2-3-1.

Looking ahead, Quantico will venture away from home to square off against Foxcroft at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seton, they will host Trinity Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Conquistadors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gryphons have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
