Basketball Recap: Wachusett Regional Takes a Loss

Wachusett Regional lost against Leominster back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers were dealt a 67-40 loss at the hands of the Leominster Blue Devils. The game marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wachusett Regional has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Leominster, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wachusett Regional will host Doherty Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leominster, they will take on Westford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
