Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brookwood Panthers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-53 last Tuesday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Brookwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-13.

Central has already played their next contest (against Tuscaloosa County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brookwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-53 loss against Northside on the 28th.
