Recap: Sidney Red Raiders vs. Wahoo Warriors
The Sidney Red Raiders and the Wahoo Warriors squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Sidney Red Raiders had to settle for second. Sidney's rough 21-0 defeat to Wahoo might stick with them for a while. Sidney's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Isak Doty threw for 45 yards on three of 16 attempts. Landon Riddle was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards. On the ground, Luke Holly rushed for 75 yards.
Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Wahoo, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record.
Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wahoo will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Boone Central at 10:15 a.m. on November 21st. One thing working in Boone Central's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
