Softball Preview: Homestead Highlanders vs. Slinger Owls
Homestead hasn't had much luck against Slinger recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Highlanders will host the Owls at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Homestead turned things around against Elkhorn on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Elks 6-5.

Homestead saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Strifling, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
