It was a good run, but Panguitch unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon View Falcons. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Panguitch lost, don't look at Daxton Miller. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddix Johnson, who posted 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Panguitch fell to 11-1. As for Canyon View, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Panguitch and Carbon will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Panguitch is facing Carbon at the right time seeing as Carbon is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Canyon View, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dixie at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.
