Grain Valley and Belton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Grain Valley Eagles will host the Belton Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grain Valley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Grain Valley better keep an eye on Alekzander Colombo. He was instrumental in Belton's win, going 6-for-9 en route to 19 points along with seven boards and four steals. Those seven rebounds gave Colombo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayce Maiden, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 18 points.

Belton's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Grain Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Grain Valley skirted past Belton 57-54 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Maiden, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.
