The Tri County Trojans simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Sterling Jets 64-24 thanks in part to Siems, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. His morning made it 21 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Wehrman, who posted nine points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

Sterling's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Uher, who put up eight points.

The victory (which was Tri County's third in a row) raised their record to 7-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Sterling, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri County will face off against Heartland on February 21st. Tri County is facing Heartland at the right time seeing as Heartland is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sterling, they will head out on the road to challenge Freeman on February 21st. Freeman will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Sterling surely won't give up without a fight.
