Softball Recap: Northeastern Bobcats vs. Central York Panthers        
        
		
            
 If Northeastern was riding high  off their  12-5 takedown of Kennard-Dale last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northeastern Bobcats took  a  9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central York Panthers on Wednesday. Northeastern has struggled against Central York recently, as their  match on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 For Central York's part,  Bailey Daughenbaugh tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia Holtzman, who  went 4-for-5 with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Heap, who  scored four  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Northeastern's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 2-2. As for Central York, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.
 Northeastern will head out on the road to  challenge  William Penn at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Northeastern is facing William Penn at the right time seeing as William Penn is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Central York, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Susquehannock at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. Central York is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.4  runs per game  this season.
