Football Recap: Los Osos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Los Osos was riding high fresh off their 42-6 takedown of Narbonne last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grizzlies fell 20-13 to the Alta Loma Braves on Thursday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Isaiah Guerrero threw for 143 yards and one touchdown. Jacob Castro was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards and one score.

Alta Loma found their leader in freshman Maximus Fierro, who threw for 157 yards and three TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (110 yards to be exact) went to Santiago Vasquez.

Los Osos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Alta Loma, their record is now 2-0.

Looking ahead, Los Osos will be playing in front of their home fans against Orange at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Alta Loma, they will head out to take on Claremont at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
