Softball Recap: Elizabethton Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones didn't have quite enough to beat the Ashe County Huskies and fell 9-7.

Elizabethton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ashe County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Elizabethton will take on Johnson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ashe County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Alexander Central at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
