Softball Game Preview: Mount Tahoma T-Birds vs. North Thurston Rams

Mount Tahoma is 0-4 against North Thurston since May of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The T-Birds will welcome the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Mount Tahoma has given up an average of 15 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mount Tahoma is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 17-1 to Lakes.

Meanwhile, North Thurston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Timberline. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Sara Halterman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Haagen, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

North Thurston's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
