Northside - Pinetown put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 64-0 victory over the Jones Trojans. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Northside - Pinetown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sincere Columbus out in front who rushed for 41 yards and two TDs. Columbus has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Another rusher making a difference was Marshal Rutledge, who rushed for 70 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northside - Pinetown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Anthony West, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Northside - Pinetown's record is now 10-0. As for Jones, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Northside - Pinetown nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
