Waterloo was the 3-1 winner over Wayne when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wayne, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waterloo will square off against rival Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wayne is set to challenge their familiar foe Midlakes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
