Volleyball Recap: Sedan Devils vs. Eureka Tornadoes
On Thursday, the Sedan Devils didn't have quite enough to beat the Eureka Tornadoes and fell 2-1. The Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sedan sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eureka to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arabella Shepherd, who had 15 digs, five aces, and two kills. Those five aces gave Shepherd a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Miller, who had 19 digs, two aces, and a kill.
Sedan's loss dropped their record down to 6-24. As for Eureka, their victory bumped their record up to 7-24.
As of now, neither Sedan nor Eureka have any future games scheduled.
