University had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the D'Evelyn Jaguars for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-23 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Janay Kravig was nothing short of spectacular: she went 6-for-10 on her way to 17 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Addison Harding, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why D'Evelyn lost on Wednesday, don't look at Mattie Esquibel. Despite the final result, she posted six points.

University pushed their record up to 26-0 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points on average over those games. As for D'Evelyn, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 22-4 record.

Looking ahead, University will square off against Holy Family at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. Holy Family will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something University surely won't give up without a fight. D'Evelyn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
