After a string of four wins, Sheyenne's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Horace, falling 73-49. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Horace are ranked seventh).

Sheyenne now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Horace, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheyenne will challenge Shanley at 7:15 p.m. on February 13th. As for Horace, they will take on West Fargo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Horace's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
