Baseball Recap: Pacific Takes a Loss

Pacific fell victim to Miller and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 13-0. The shutout was out of character for the Pirates seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Pacific and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Miller, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacific will face off against Indian Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The COYOTES have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.06 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Miller, they will take on Granite Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
