It was a good run, but Carencro unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marksville Tigers.

Carencro's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Marksville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Carencro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy on the 29th. As for Marksville, they will challenge Opelousas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
