Edinburgh is 9-1 against Waldron since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lancers will take on the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. Edinburgh is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Edinburgh's offense. They came up short against Center Grove on Friday, falling 18-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lancers have suffered since May 2nd.

Meanwhile, Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-3 to Morristown.

Alexis Rogers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Edinburgh and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Waldron, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Waldron's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Edinburgh hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for Waldron, though, as they've only averaged .221. Will they be able to contain Edinburgh's hitters?

Edinburgh took their win against Waldron in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mohawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
