West Morris Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past the West Morris Mendham Minutemen with points to spare, taking the game 21-7. The Wolfpack haven't had any issues with the Minutemen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Matt Zisa threw for 83 yards. John Garcia was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Seamus Buckley rushed for 41 yards.

West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolfpack will square off against rival Morris Knolls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, West Morris Mendham is set to face off against their familiar foe Parsippany Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
