West Morris Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 win over the West Morris Mendham Minutemen. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won nine in a row.

Matt Zisa threw for 83 yards. John Garcia was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Seamus Buckley rushed for 41 yards.

West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolfpack are set to square off against their familiar foe Morris Knolls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
