Red Bud came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 15 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sparta Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The Musketeers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Red Bud took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9.

Peyton Kreher paced Red Bud's offense, picking up ten kills. Kreher got some help from Norah Wagner and her 24 assists. Corbyn Legendre controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

When it comes to explaining why Sparta lost, don't look at Jacelyn Boston. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs.

Red Bud's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Sparta, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Red Bud wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Okawville on the 2nd. As for Sparta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wesclin on the 2nd.
