North Huron had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Caseville on Thursday. The North Huron Warriors claimed a resounding 47-11 win over the Caseville Eagles. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

North Huron got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ana Champagne out in front who went 7 of 8 on her way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Champagne has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Souva, who posted ten points and three steals.

The win was the third in a row for North Huron, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.7 points per game. As for Caseville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

North Huron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-17 defeat against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy on the 31st. As for Caseville, they will head out on the road to challenge Deckerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deckerville's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Caseville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
