Softball Recap: Standish-Sterling Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gladwin on Friday, Standish-Sterling came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Clio Mustangs on Saturday, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 15-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Standish-Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Clio, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Coincidentally, Standish-Sterling and Clio will both be playing Reese the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Rockets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
