Hannibal is a perfect 10-0 against Mexico since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Pirates will challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Hannibal is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Hannibal got the win against Fulton by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hannibal took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Mexico came up short against Marshall on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Owls 25-17 in the first set.

Mexico actually scored more points across those four sets (99-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 27-25, 27-25, 26-24.

Mexico dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Hannibal, their victory bumped their record up to 23-9-1.

Everything went Hannibal's way against Mexico in their previous matchup back in September, as Hannibal made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
