Football Recap: Watertown Falls to Jefferson in First Game of Season

Watertown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 51-7 defeat at the hands of the Jefferson Cavaliers on Friday. The Arrows were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Watertown and Jefferson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Arrows are set to challenge their familiar foe Yankton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will face off against rival Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
