After a string of three wins, Osawatomie's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellsville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.
Charlotte Lawless paced Osawatomie's offense, picking up three kills. Lawless got some help from Lexie Palmer and her five assists. Lawless was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
