Basketball Recap: Taryn Wood's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Osceola over Stockton

Osceola was the 44-42 winner over Stockton when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Osceola lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taryn Wood, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Leah Crowder, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Osceola now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Stockton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Osceola will square off against Lighthouse Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stockton, they will challenge Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
