            Softball Recap: Billingsley Bears vs. Isabella Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Billingsley kicked off their season on the road  on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took  a  10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Isabella Mustangs. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing  8-3 to them when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
  Claire Seamon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.  Jakayla Harris was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
The  win (which was Isabella's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 Coming up, Billingsley will challenge Jemison at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Isabella, they will square off against Horseshoe Bend at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Horseshoe Bend's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2  runs per game  this season, so Isabella's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
