Gladstone came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 44-20 margin over the Gwinn Modeltowners. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 24 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Lillie Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Addy Blowers was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Gladstone smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Gladstone's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points over those games. As for Gwinn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Coming up, Gladstone will challenge Kingsford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Gladstone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. As for Gwinn, they will venture away from home to take on Iron Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
