Soccer Game Preview: Damien vs. Chino Hills

The Damien Spartans will challenge the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Damien's offense. They fell 2-0 to Etiwanda on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Chino Hills' match on Monday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Los Osos a 3-0 shutout. The result kept the Huskies happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 13, 2024.

They hit Los Osos with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jase Dunbar, Jordan Corona, and Adam Scales.

Damien's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Chino Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.
