Volleyball Game Preview: Intermountain Christian Lions vs. American Leadership Academy Eagles

The Intermountain Christian Lions will head out to face off against the American Leadership Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Leadership Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Intermountain Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Intermountain Christian got the win against Merit Preparatory Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Intermountain Christian was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-6, 25-10.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy lost 3-0 to Rowland Hall on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Winged Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-10.

Intermountain Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for American Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went Intermountain Christian's way against American Leadership Academy in their previous matchup on September 4th, as Intermountain Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
