Basketball Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Westchester Comets

Cleveland hasn't had much luck against Westchester recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Westchester Comets at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Cleveland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 73-62 victory over St. Bonaventure.

Meanwhile, Westchester had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Tuesday. They blew past the Torreys 70-47. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Westchester pushed their record up to 23-9 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.7 points. As for Cleveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.
