Volleyball Recap: Burbank Find Success

Burbank won the last time they faced Del Rio and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Burbank was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12.

Evelyn Flores was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Burbank now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Del Rio, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Stevens on the 26th. As for Del Rio, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Winn on the 23rd.
